Former Lake Dallas standout Dalyn Williams will have a few extra eyes on him when the college football season starts in a few months.

Williams will enter his junior year at Dartmouth on the 2014 College Football Performance Awards Watch List. The organization announced its list on Sunday evening June 8, 2014. Williams joins 35 other Football Championship Subdivision quarterbacks that are trying to earn one of the top honors in the game.

In his second season with the Big Green, Williams played in all 10 games and tallied 1,773 passing yards, 11 touchdowns, five interceptions and a 55.5 completion percentage. The former Falcon also rushed for 563 yards and five touchdowns.

Last year’s CFPA Quarterback Award winner was Eastern Illinois’ Jimmy Garoppolo. The New England Patriots took Garoppolo in the second round of this year’s NFL draft.

Heading into his junior year, Williams is ranked seventh in school history in career total yards. Williams was named the Ivy League’s Freshman of the Year in 2012
