Lake Dallas quarterback Ryan Depperschmidt ranks second among all Class 5A quarterbacks in passing yards (1,377).
Depperschmidt’s top wide receiver, Brandon Engel, leads the classification in receiving yards (611).
With that standout production, which has powered a 4-1 start for the District 7-5A Div. II playoff contender, Lake Dallas’ passing attack rivals that of two-time defending Class 5A Div. I state champion Highland Park.
