LD Highsteppers attended Regional DFW Championships on March 1, 2014. The team won 4th place in Best of the Best out of 20 teams, and 1st Runner-Up in Medium Schools. They won Judges Awards for each of their dances Military, Pom, and Novelty. They earned Sweepstakes and Gussie Nell Davis. Their 3 dances earned Outstanding Technique, Choreography, Precision and Presentation!!!
Dance Officers won 1st Runner Up in Medium Schools. They won Judges Awards for each of their dances Prop, Pom, and Hip Hop. Officers earned Sweepstakes and Gussie Nell Davis. They were awarded Outstanding Technique, Choreography, and Presentation for their 3 routines!!!
Duet by Lexie Hill and Ashley Jensen won 1st Place in Medium Teams. Christy DeShazo was named Outstanding Director.
