The Lake Dallas Quarterback Club presented a check for $4,400 to Cathy Tudor at the Pink Out game last Friday, October 25, 2019.
Thank you to the Lake Dallas Volleyball team for their partnership and contribution to the Falcons Give Back campaign! Thank you as well to the Lake Dallas High School TAFE Chapter for future educators. The TAFE held a “Pink Out! Lemonade” fundraiser to support the Falcons Give Back campaign for Pink Out Night.
Cathy Tudor, one of our own LDISD teachers, has served the Lake Dallas community for many years. She and her husband Roy have been married 29 years and have raised two daughters, Sarah and Katie.
Cathy began her service as a volunteer at Corinth Elementary and soon became a valued employee of Lake Dallas ISD. She has taught reading to students with dyslexia for the past 20 years at both Corinth and Lake Dallas Elementary Schools. Her knowledge and passion for reading has helped hundreds of students overcome the challenges of dyslexia.
Cathy was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma in the fall of 2016. Throughout her journey she has continued to teach and inspire not only her students, but all who know her.
