Lake Dallas High School, Home of the Fighting Falcons, will celebrate its 50th football season in 2014!

With humble beginnings in 1965, the Lake Dallas Falcons have played approximately 494 games with a winning record of 260-226-8, and have appeared in the playoffs 18 times (1968, 1969, 1970, 1975, 1994, 1999, 2000, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012).

In 2002, the new football stadium – Falcon Stadium – located in Corinth, was opened and in 2009, increased its press box and seating capacity to 6,000 spectators.

In 2008, the Lake Dallas Falcons and Sherman scored 115 points in a game to tie a state record: Most Points Scored by Both Teams (Sherman 61 – Lake Dallas 54)
